If you’re looking for a professional acupuncturist and massage therapist in Santa Barbara, you can find me with Community Centered Oriental Medicine at 1900 State Street (at Pedregosa) Suite C.  I am trained in a variety of modalities and you can click on the my services page to learn more about the many tools I like to use in my work.   If you want to hear about what my clients are saying about the quality of care that they're receiving, you can take a look at the my testimonials page.  You also have access to some of the research articles that have been circulating in regards to acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapies.

I've been a licensed acupuncturist since 2002 and have been a licensed massage therapist since 1992.  Learn more about my experience with acupuncture and why I love my work.

I also practice Pain-Free needling technique, which means that if you eat within an hour prior to coming in to see me AND you haven't had caffeine of any kind for 3-4 hours prior to your visit, you will most likely not feel any of the needles go in.  I personally don't like feeling 'poked with needles' and I'm committed that you come back and see me because you want to, not because you have to.

If you're new to acupuncture and want to learn more about what sorts of things it might help, you can go to the conditions treated page.  I will guide you through a treatment on the what can I expect? page.

Also, if you’d like to request an appointment with me now, you can click on the request a session page. I will call you back to confirm the details of your appointment, and also answer any questions you might have.  Please go ahead and poke around my site - there's alot to see.

And if you're looking to give the gift of massage and/or acupuncture as a gift, check out my lovely gift certificates.

Thanks for checking out my site

“This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one: the being a force of nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.

I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can.

I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work the more I live.  I rejoice in life for its own sake.  Life is no ‘brief candle’ to me.  It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handling it on to the future generations.”
