My Outcall rates: I charge $70/hour for outcall visits and I also add $25 (or more for outside SB proper) for my travel fee/setup and takedown.

Cancellation Policy:
I request that you cancel your scheduled appointment 24-hours in advance. Remember, my low prices dictate that I make my clinic as fiscally viable as possible. A missed appointment without cancellation costs me money which is not in my budget. You will be asked to pay the same amount you normally pay for appointment. If you can't achieve this due to extenuating circumstances beyond your control, there is no charge.
If the circumstances are not beyond your control, you have two choices: you can either pay for the missed appointment the next time you come in or you can find someone to go in your place. It doesn't matter whether or not it's a new client, all are welcome and all will be treated with compassionate care.

Insurance
At this time, I don't accept insurance. However, I will provide you with a Superbill that you can send in to your insurance company for reimbursement. You pay me as you go and after eight to ten treatments, I provide you with a Superbill so that you can get reimbursed for whatever your insurance company will pay. The reason that I do this is because dealing with insurance companies is very time-consuming, unless you're a client!! If I were to send in your claim, it would take much longer for me to receive payment. They are much easier to deal with as a client - it usually takes three weeks to receive your money back.
Discounts
I offer discounts (first visit FREE and visits occuring over the period of the next six months are 1/2 off) to people who are dealing with tragedy in their lives through SBCHOP. This applies to folks who are dealing directly with tragedy (divorce, new cancer diagnosis, home destroyed, hospice, loved one's passing) as well as 20% off to those who deal with tragedy on a regular basis (nurses, EMTs, firefighters, police, sheriff, clergy, hospice workers, social workers and relief workers). Please look at my SBCHOP page and see what it's all about - if not for you, then for someone you know. There are also other practitioners and modalities to choose from!!

Remember, if you don’t come often enough or long enough, acupuncture may not be as effective for you. With my sliding scale I encourage you to come as often as needed to effectively change your condition. It may be important to make a commitment to yourself to get the most out of your treatments. I ask folks to look seriously at three-month increments in order to see vast improvements with chronic conditions but with more acute conditions, I recommend 7-8 treatments in 1-2 months.
Responsibility
Although I am a primary care provider, my clinic does not provide primary care medicine. Acupuncture is a wonderful complement to Western medicine but it is not a substitute for it. If you think you have a problem such as serious infection, abnormal growth or an injury that won't heal, you need to see a primary care physician. I can provide complementary care for conditions which require a physician's attention but I need you to take responsibility for your own healthcare.
